Waterfront Concept & Design

Azure 2 is one of eight clusters within DAMAC Riverside Views, a waterfront apartment development positioned on either side of an internal river running through the community. The design draws on the residential character of river cities such as London, Paris, New York, Amsterdam and Rome, applying that same relationship between architecture and water to a Dubai setting.

Azure 2 comprises five residential buildings, each built to a G+2P+8 configuration (ground floor, two podium levels and eight upper floors) with a concrete structure and combined internal and external finishing. Across the wider Azure 2 component, the plan totals 656 units. Facades are designed with modern lines intended to work with the flow of the water feature rather than against it.

Amenities & Recreation

The community amenity offer is built around the river itself. Residents have access to Malibu Cove for swimming and sunbathing, a floating deck used for events and performances, and an island restaurant paired with a floating cinema for evening use. The Portofino Restaurant is reachable only by boat, positioning dining as part of the waterfront experience rather than a standard podium retail unit.

Fitness facilities include a climbing wall set within an aquatic environment, outdoor callisthenics stations, and lakes infused with essential oils for post-workout recovery. Family-oriented spaces include Kidz Adventure Land, a games zone and a community amphitheatre, while a clubhouse, spa and dedicated peace room cover the wellness side of the offer. A hydroponic farm supplies live cooking classes and barbecue events held in outdoor lawn areas.

DAMAC markets Riverside Views as Dubai's first riverside community, with acquisition options ranging from individual units to full-building purchases. The project sits within Dubai Investments Park, an area DAMAC positions as part of the city's next generation of residential development, adjacent to established zones such as Dubai South and the Al Maktoum International Airport catchment.

Construction had not started as of the reporting date, with a project timeline running from August 2025 to a March 2029 handover. Location

Connectivity & Access

Azure 2 sits within Dubai Investments Park, giving access to Emirates Road, Al Qudra Road and Expo Road. According to the developer, the Expo 2020 venue is around 12 minutes away, Al Maktoum International Airport around 15 minutes, and Dubai International Airport around 30 minutes. Sports City, Motor City and DAMAC Hills are quoted at roughly 11 minutes, positioning the project within reach of established western Dubai communities without being inside their traffic corridors.

Sheikh Zayed Road and the Burj Al Arab / Burj Khalifa corridor are further out, at approximately 28 to 30 minutes by the developer's estimates, reflecting the community's position on the western edge of the city rather than in a central district.
