Architecture Inspired by Weaving

The Weave is a new off plan project in Jumeirah Village Circle developed by Al Ghurair Development, comprising a single building rising G+5P+13 floors above a podium, with 130 residences across one and two and three-bedroom layouts. The design, led by Australian architect Joe Adsett, takes its cue from 'safafa', the traditional Middle Eastern craft of weaving palm fronds, expressed through intertwining balconies and angled facade patterns.

The building's curved forms are intended to shape light and texture across the interiors rather than serve as a purely decorative gesture. This approach carries through to the rooftop club, which the architect describes as an emotional anchor for residents, tying the facade concept to the amenity spaces above.

Residence Layouts and Sizes

One-bedroom homes at The Weave apartments for sale come in two layouts, Type A and Type B, ranging from 745 to 932 sqft, with Type B including an additional powder room. Two-bedroom residences span 1,217 to 1,519 sqft and are designed with private master suites and a study corner. A limited selection of three-bedroom homes, sized between 1,820 and 2,221 sqft, includes a study or maid's room alongside three bedrooms.

The rooftop residents club is positioned as the project's central amenity, featuring an infinity pool with a softly-lit deck, an outdoor barbecue and dining area, a private cinema, and a wellness zone with an ice bath, jacuzzis, steam room and sauna. A fitness and yoga studio filled with natural light rounds out the offering.

These facilities are consolidated on a single rooftop level rather than spread across multiple amenity floors, reflecting the building's compact footprint as a single tower within the community.
